This degree project explores the possibility of reuse in a modular system, designed to be flexible, expandable with new components, and finally easily dismantled to meet changing needs and circumstances with the hope that the system will have a longer life than the interior that first housed it. <\/p>\n
The system has been reconfigured to test this hypothesis and expanded for different premises and situations. The components are made of wood to offer a different expression than existing modular solutions. This system can assume certain roles that site-built interior details often have but lies as a layer more clearly separated from the room.
