“Take a seat” is a bar concept that takes shape in exploring the round table as a non-hierarchical object in a spatial context. In this concept, the bar counter acts as the round object that relates to the rectangular room. The design of the bar counter focuses on the meeting as a function, as the design should contribute to blurring the boundary between the serving staff and guests to create that DIY bartender feeling that occurs when we meet in each other’s homes.<\/p>\n
