Her goal is to get every room to sing. In my degree project, I take these techniques as a starting point, but apply them instead to a public outdoor environment \u2013 <em>The Singing Square<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The design of public environments today often lacks a connection to the location. Colours do not always correlate well with the surroundings, and the placement of furniture often lacks a deeper consideration of how the place should be used. The Bred\u00e4ng Square in Stockholm is filled every day with colourful, interesting people. I want to create a square environment that reflects these individuals and functions as a natural meeting place for them. <\/p>\n<p>In my proposal, I add carefully chosen colours, shapes and features in a harmonious contrast to the existing architecture in Bred\u00e4ng.
