For her, the craft and creators are important and the fact that there is work behind the surface.<\/p>\n
With the properties of glass, she wants to tell different stories where light, shadows, reflections and refractions are important alongside with the visibility\/invisibility of the maker.<\/p>\n
Using video and sound, St\u00e5hl inserts herself or other creators as narrators in the work. She wants to awaken minds and start discussions on underlying layers and processes.<\/p>\n
She thinks about time, how long it takes to build up, master and become a skilled craftsman. And how it can fall apart as quickly as the strength\/fragility of the material itself.
