I want to take a big bite out of the ones I love so that they get to feel that they are flesh and blood.<\/p>\n
To remind them that they are nature.<\/p>\n
I want to remember.<\/p>\n
The ghost has been given a mission to turn its face back toward the living.<\/p>\n
To terrify is an act of vengeance in itself.<\/p>\n
To eat someone is a declaration of love.<\/p>\n
To sacrifice is to create what is sacred.<\/p>\n
For too long, the eye has been in charge.<\/p>\n
Iconography is just a reminder of the presence of the divine.<\/p>\n
The work is a homage to the Cannibalist Manifesto and to the women that have become specters for the living.<\/p>\n
