I remember when I was a kid. We were in Värmland and you didn’t want to get out of the water. I sat and watched you from the cliffs, as my mother put a towel around me and laughed, “she really loves to swim”. Maybe you liked how the water carried you? I didn’t realise then that you had periods of illness. When I got older, I got sick too. We both lost our grip on reality for a while. I think about care, love and electricity. I think about you and I try to remember.

In Fragments, I work with moving images. As often in my practice, the themes are about illness and memories.
