My degree project Sunset Bitch is a humorous social commentary on the resort as a final destination. Through the use of the theoretical concept of a green screen, the installation can act as a blank canvas with the possibility to create the illusion of another environment, similar to how propaganda and other forms of manipulation, e.g. in the film and advertising industry, are used to project a desired image and control public perception. This allows the painting, the objects and the spectators to theoretically be anywhere and anytime beyond space and time. Explore ancient flower fields, record Onlyfans content at the hotel, party on legendary beaches or watch people drown in the Mediterranean while listening to a dying world inside the seashell headset.
