Theodor Öhrn

In 1972 Astri Solbrynja writes Ögondalar, a prose poem from her debut Tomhetens poetik. During an interview about the book with the French magazine Deux, she says: “The city flocks with people, thoughts and materials – it hides spaces, holes and oils that sing about the presence of the unspoken… Yes, the poetics of the city lies in its belly fat and (over)looked views…”. In the work Ögonsalar I seek to articulate a city’s poetics with the help of its belly fat and (over)looked spaces.
