– A Device that Assists in Remembering Something
A design proposal inspired by how we humans collect, store and display objects in the home. How objects we want to remember are forgotten and hidden away for various reasons, behind this backdrop of storage that our homes have begun to consist of. These objects, connected to memories and events from our lives, create a portrait of us, but are not given the place of dignity that they deserve. I present a compromise between an extension of the (for us) value of an object and our current interior expression, a piece of furniture that filters out the number of impressions and discloses fragments of the objects we choose to store in it.
