Transparent Terrain, a burlesque show and nightclub in Nitrolackfabriken at Lövholmen, exists to bring back the city’s essential nightlife that promotes playfulness, well-being, and tourism.

Burlesque plays a critical and feminist role in the global nightlife scene. In addition to this, its inherent transformative capability can open up Stockholm’s nightlife and let people come closer together.

After analyzing the existing nightclub’s plans, material, activity, and movement, it is clear Transparent Terrain’s space has been shaped into a modern and positively disruptive interior design proposal that will extend the lifespan of burlesque as an art form as well as the club scene in Stockholm.
