Whether we like it or not, flares are part of supporter culture. They create an atmosphere and expression that are unique to football culture. But flares are heavily contested due to their temperature and the smoke they produce.

Supporter culture is a creative culture in which commitment to a common cause is central. With my proposal, I want to create new opportunities for this vibrant culture to express itself.

The Cold Flame gives supporters new opportunities to create light and smoke tifos without a hot flame source and with steam-based smoke. Because the light of The Cold Flame comes from LEDs, they can be controlled in several colours, which gives supporters the opportunity to freely choose how they want to create the best tifo for their team.
