Teacher Education Symposium: Democracy and Future

Welcome to a symposium at which we will discuss the opportunities and challenges of visual arts education based on five different essays by students in Konstfack’s Teacher Education Programme. With a view to sustainability and democracy, we’ll explore the subject of visual arts through formal and informal knowledge spaces, both physical and virtual. The aim of the conference is to deepen the conversation on the human need for aesthetics, as expression, place and function.
