– Exploring color through a new cultural scene in Lövholmen.

I have embarked on a journey (that will never end) to explore more aspects of colour than I intuitively knew before.It is an exciting and daunting task and I am walking this path with the eyes and tools of an interior architect.

What do I want with colour? How much colour is needed to make an effect? How do you combine theory with intuition? What approaches are there when working with colour, and which to choose? Will I ever be satisfied?

The questions are asked in the context of a place for exploration – Smälten, an existing building on Lövholmen where components for paint historically have been produced. I am making space for a stage that will serve as an extended cultural meeting point for Färgfabriken, where colour becomes an important part of its identity and experience.
