– A Research Creation Project about Paint-making in Visual Art Education

Throughout history, people have derived colours from pigments found in the natural materials and resources in their surroundings.
My degree project is based on exploring different ways of producing colours with which to paint, as well as finding methods for how this can be used in visual art education. What can we learn from historical paint-making processes? How can we relate to the natural materials and resources around us when it comes to artistic creation?
