Sara Arasteh

In my degree project, I examine what happens when students at Konstfack teach students in other specialisations, with a focus on craft exchange. The purpose of the study is to investigate through workshops how craft exchange can promote deeper learning. This collaboration is a way to open up for a democratic approach in which learning and peer assessment can strengthen the students’ knowledge and provide better democratic preparedness during the students’ education.

In my study of “student teaching student”, I’ve arranged different workshops between the departments in which I have invited students who are knowledgeable in their fields of craft to cross-border meetings. At the Degree Exhibition, I highlight a sculptural creation that is a compilation of different materials inspired by these collaborations.
