Living alone in a foreign country for the first time was harder and lonelier than I expected. For me, being thrown into a city and not knowing where I am, every day feels like a challenge.
However, at the same time, it is also certain that I am experiencing a freedom that I have never felt before. Every day feels like an adventure with so much to discover. It seems that loneliness is also something I need.
I see loneliness as a word that is essential in order to look at oneself.
My degree project examines the experience of loneliness, both from my personal perspective and from the perspective of people living in modern cities.
I propose a way of life in which we can be alone together. It is similar to knitting relationships from person to person.
